“We don’t always see the beauty in the landscapes or the everyday events around us, and I like to think that my paintings are observations of that. That I am recording that which we don’t always have time to stop and look at or appreciate. A way of really looking at things.

Sometimes it may be how the light catches the buildings in the city, or another time the clouds over the mountains in the distance, or even the comfort one feels when observing how friends meet at a street café. I want my paintings to be a visual appreciation of an experience, which may or may not resonate with the viewer, but at least leave them with a sense of satisfaction.”
